NELP Nomination

Nomination Process

Community members, employers, supervisors, NELP Fellows, and NELP Alumni may nominate potential Fellows. We recommend that you discuss the requirements and expectations of the program with the potential Fellow before completing a nomination form. Nominees will receive an invitation to apply for the program when the application period opens. Applications are read and scored by community leaders and the top candidates are invited to compete during an all-day interview process we call “Selection Day.”

Tuition

If invited to participate in an upcoming class, the Nehemiah Community Foundation (NCF) awards a $5000 scholarship toward the full cost of this 10-month program leaving a tuition balance of $10,000, which is often paid by employers through professional development funds. NCF may award additional small scholarships to select candidates who demonstrate financial need through an additional application and interview process. Scholarships are limited to funds generated through fundraising activities by NCF and the number of Fellows requesting support. Fellows may pay any remaining balance through an interest-free payment plan by setting up automatic monthly payments.
